New Writing Draft – The Diluvian Mountains

The Diluvian Mountains were a bitter set of black and grey teeth jutting from a flood plain that was sparsely populated. Steep, tall, prone to releasing torrents of glacial flood waters at a whim, not many cities had seen a desire to set roots close by, so there were few who called the place home. The residents who did were seasonal farmers and hunters who would risk the plains during warm weather, growing fast, high-yield crops they could harvest quickly for market then return to the higher valleys to wait out winters, hunting, until the next cycle began.

Time and Times

Time and times are dictated by what you do and how you perceive the events that affect you.

Time accumulates, like water in a pond; then vanishes, evaporates, is absorbed or just used to irrigate some weed. You can use it while it’s there or take it for granted, but if you try to save it you’ll just find it gone when it’s needed most.

The story behind Lure…

There's usually some kind of story behind a story and people seem to be curious about those "behind the scenes" moments that give life to these things. I wrote the first draft of Lure a long, long time ago. It was the mid-90's and I was still going to University. I...

Upgrades

I decided it was time to do some more work on this site, get a bit more serious. So, all two of you will see the difference! New design (I've worked with variations of this one on quite a few sites I've built, but this time I get to really start pushing it). Also new...

Douche Hat

I need a douche hat…and a shitty car with a soup-can muffler.

While you’re giving me gifts, why not some mid ’90’s economy sedan with plenty of space under the hood for superchargers, turbos, cold air intakes and enough trunk space to stuff a few bass cannons so I might make my brain hemorrhage.

2,000 words

2,000 words down and almost done with that bit I was talking about yesterday. Another 2,000 words and it should be done...then onto the edits and stunt readers. It may not sound like a lot of progress, but it really is a lot of progress. Especially since we're talking...

Failing Happiness

Failing Happiness is the place of wilting, not dying, wilting. I can't generalize for everyone suffering from Mental Illness, I won't speak for them; if anything, this shit is so random my own descriptions can't really match up to anyone else. I do know...

Life doesn’t stop between posts, it just…degrades.

I am out of options, hitting for the fences now.

The Great Motorcycle Hunt of 2018 is over! A couple of weekends ago I bought a 2018 Harley Davidson FXBR, Breakout.

Pessimistic Idealism

My dreams are woven from dark fabric; bound in smoke and fire – embellished with tears. Yet, to see such decoration our eyes need light. It is pointless to weave intricate patterns that cannot be seen. There can never be destruction without creation.

Pessimistic pondering must be balanced by Idealism, or the entire dream collapses into depthless nightmare.

So, yes. I am a man with Pessimistic Idealism driving my thoughts. Since nothing is mutually inclusive, these two clashing concepts work in balance to create some future vision. I think they birth Hope…and a fragile Faith.

The Great Motorcycle Hunt of 2018

The Great Motorcycle Hunt of 2018 Spivey is now in the loving hands of my daughter. He was a faithful steed and I miss him. But I am very happy he is where he is.   Searching... This Spring I will get my next bike. Since I have a habit of researching...

Isolation

White Supremacists in the Full-Time RV community have forced me to deactivate my FaceBook account. Old friends are not really speaking to me right now. We have one car, so while Julie’s at work I’m land-bound.
