Living That Mobile Dream…
Is now 90% real. A couple of months ago Julie and I made the decision to live fully mobile. We’ve rented our home, bought our 5th wheel (and accompanying truck to pull the damn thing), and started cleaning out most of the things we own.

When the shit hits the fan (which it will, promise), it is so much easier to blame the contractors than it is for employees to take the blame…even if the shit is obviously theirs. So, as a contractor, you get very attuned to the approach of The Bus.
You hear it’s rumble.
You smell it’s exhaust, long before the actual bus appears.

The Failure of Analytics–Emotional Elections
THAT is why many people are waking up to a stark reality in America, and around the world as President-Elect Trump prepares to stroll into the White House. Emotion, not data, won the day.
Several months ago I stood in the dark parking lot of a closed gas station in small, south-central Utah town, filling a gas tank for that last stretch of a journey. Across the road an eighteen-wheeler pulled to a noisy stop and its driver climbed from the cab. He was proudly wearing a “Donald Trump for President” t-shirt. That moment was the emotional change for me because it created an emotional response in me.
