No need to say “sorry” and another story almost ready.

Two reviews on the story...although one got pulled, don't know why (it wasn't me!). The one that's left is from someone who liked the title but not the story. Odd thing, they said "sorry" at the end of the review. No need! If you didn't like it that's okay. I've been...

The Eating

There was once a frog...who ate a pig. Obviously the pig was not happy about this since the frog was so much smaller than the pig, but he was consumed, and dead, so there was not much he could do about the situation. Coincidentally, in a closet, far, far away, a mouse...

Upgrades

I decided it was time to do some more work on this site, get a bit more serious. So, all two of you will see the difference! New design (I've worked with variations of this one on quite a few sites I've built, but this time I get to really start pushing it). Also new...

Engine Guards and Gravel Practice for your Motorcycle

Sad fact…I’d ordered Engine Guards and they were sitting in my garage, still in the damn box! Laziness and procrastination had led me to put off their installation. I paid for that! Literally!

Remembering Ice and Cold

Remembering Ice and Cold

Remembering Ice and Cold

If I look at measures, I think in winters. Not moons, suns, stars or the ticks on a ruler or those of a clock. I recollect by the numb freeze of fingers and ears. Heavy feet in boots. The rhythmic puff clouds huffed out in blue-grey morning light.

Living That Mobile Dream…

Several months ago I stood in the dark parking lot of a closed gas station in small, south-central Utah town, filling a gas tank for that last stretch of a journey. Across the road an eighteen-wheeler pulled to a noisy stop and its driver climbed from the cab. He was proudly wearing a “Donald Trump for President” t-shirt. That moment was the emotional change for me because it created an emotional response in me.

It could have gone (should have gone) much faster, been a cleaner process, but I’m a hired gun; I’m working in a team that is very unfamiliar with one another, and not every piece of our source material was ready–hell, some of it didn’t even exist! But, that’s why I was brought in; I know this stuff from the general to the most technical and I can teach it all, to anyone. This is going to sound terribly arrogant, but I am one of the very few people in the world who can do this type of work, on this scale, in this scope…on a world-wide stage.
